➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ ELDORA/MARTIN SWINSON ROADS — A deputy responding to reports of a suspicious vehicle saw the driver leave the car, walk past a house and flee into the woods. The man was identified as being wanted out of Screven County but he was not immediately apprehended.

▲ HIGHWAY 46 — A man reported the theft of a boat motor.

▲ ALLISON LANE — Deputies responded to a reported domestic dispute and simple battery case.


➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ LANIER DRIVE — A man said an unwanted person damaged his deadbolt while beating on his door.

▲ HARWOOD STREET — Officers responded to a reported dispute that was deemed verbal in nature.

▲ BRIDGEPORT DRIVE — Someone reported a physical altercation. Officers did not make an arrest.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police

▲ Officers issued one traffic citation and no traffic warnings and assisted six motorists.

▲ SOUTHERN PINES — Someone reported a theft.


➤ Georgia State Patrol Post 45

▲ Last week, troopers responded to 17 crashes with one fatality and 10 reported injuries. Four drivers were arrested on DUI charges.

▲ Troopers also issued the following: 10 citations and one warning for seat belt violations; six citations and one warning for child restraint violations; 11 citations and 26 warnings for speeding.
