Candler County Sheriff’s Department
    SOUTH LEROY STREET — Deputies responded to a call about a fourth degree forgery incident.
    HIGHWAY 129 — Someone reported a theft.
    Also, deputies responded to a call about an unruly juvenile at a different location.

Metter Police Department
    Reports not issued.

Bulloch County Animal Shelter
    Surrendered by citizens — 15 dogs and nine cats from rural areas; two dogs and no cats from City of Statesboro.
    Collected by humane officers — 17 dogs and two cats from rural areas; two dogs and one cat from City of Statesboro.
    Adopted from shelter — five dogs and two cats.
    Taken in by rescue organizations — eight adult dogs, 20 puppies and no cats.
    Reclaimed by owners —six dogs.
    Died at shelter — two cats.
    Euthanized — four dogs (one personal surrender due to aggression; two aggressive/feral, one medical issues) and   nine cats (feral, upper respiratory illness).
    Fees collected — $260.
