Statesboro Police Incidents
    * GARDEN DISTRICT – A man said someone left his car trunk open, doors open, left his jack out and stole his speakers and amplifier. Another person reported two CD players and a radio stolen from a car.
    * KMART – A homeless man was arrested for stealing food, batteries, and diabetic socks.
    * JAMES STREET – A DVD player and TV were stolen.
    * EAGLE COURT – A complainant reported a 1998 Ford Taurus stolen. The car was taken to a recycling center.
    * COPPER BEECH TOWNHOUSES – An iPod, textbook, glasses and back pack were stolen.
    * UNIVERSITY PLAZA – Police arrested three men for fighting.
    * RUDE RUDY’S – A man said an unknown person hit his friend in the face.
    * GROOVER HOMES – A woman said three females attacked her.
    * BELK – Three women shoplifted clothes, shoes, purses and more.
    * UNIVERSITY PINES – Someone stole shoes from a home.
    * DIGITAL OFFICE EQUIPMENT – Someone broke in and stole $47.
    * HAWTHORNE II – Someone stole two CD players from a car.

    * Officers issued four warnings, five citations, and assisted three motorists over the weekend.
    * EAGLE VILLAGE — Two residents reported their rooms were entered. One resident reported a laptop missing.
    * SOUTHERN PINES – A wallet was stolen.
    * KENNEDY HALL – A bike was stolen from a rack.
    * NURSING/CHEMISTRY BUILDING – Someone reported a stolen purse.
    * PERFORMING ARTS CENTER — A purse was reported stolen.
