Police: 'Bored' teens stole vehicles
3 teens allegedly took the autos from a dealership

Three Evans County teens started off the new year Tuesday by stealing two vehicles from an automobile dealership in Hagan. Trey Darian Grimes, 17, of Bowen Lane in Claxton; Jamalcom Antwon Bellamy, 17, of Magnolia Street in Claxton; and a 14-year-old male from Claxton were arrested just before 10 p.m. Tuesday in Statesboro when Statesboro police Officer Thomas McKeithen stopped a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado for speeding on South Main Street, Public Safety Director Wendell Turner said in a news release issued Thursday morning. Grimes, the driver, was charged with driving while unlicensed, speeding and felony theft by receiving stolen property.
