A Statesboro man was jailed Saturday after accusations he solicited sex from a child under 16.
        Gregory Hunter, 49, Henry Street, is charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes.
        He allegedly offered a "teenaged juvenile money" in exchange for sexual acts, said Statesboro Police Community Information Specialist Madison Bridges.
        The incident reportedly took place around 1:30 a.m. Saturday at a Henry Street location, and was reported around 5 p.m. later that day, she said.
        No illicit physical contact was made with the child, she said.
        Hunter was arrested shortly afterward. He is being held in the Bulloch County Jail without bond, according to jail records.
