A Georgia Southern University student with connections to the Eagles football team was arrested Saturday in Milledgeville on aggravated assault charges. Garrett Thomas Smith, age not immediately available, entered a Cobblestone Park Drive home and physically attacked another man, according to Milledgeville police reports. Smith and two other men entered the male victim’s home uninvited.
