Four charged in Brooklet armed robbery

All four suspects in a Dec. 9 armed robbery attack in Brooklet are now behind bars, said Brooklet Police Chief Doug Meyer. One man was arrested shortly after the armed robbery, during which the suspects pistol-whipped a man before stealing an Xbox gaming system he was selling, Meyer said. Garry Matthews, 17, of Rushing Street in Brooklet, was jailed on charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault and obstruction.
