Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests           

            Lawrence Anthony Brannen, 26, St. Charles Place — probation violation, theft of services.

            John Russell Lesh, 46, Camelia Drive East — probation violation.

            Christopher Deon Ponder,        22, North Main Street — bench warrant.

            James Clayton Garrett, 25, Portal Crossing Loop, Portal — driving with a suspended license, seat belt violation.

            Jonas Shields March, 28, Turf Road — public intoxication.

            Zema Smith Jr., 42, Simons Road — leaving the scene of an accident.

                       

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

            Santos Riviera, 41, maria Baccor Trailer Park, Metter — DUI (.220).

            Jessie Clove, 46, Metter — DUI (blood alcohol percentage unlisted).

            Troopers issued 36 traffic violation citations Sunday.

Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents        

            MILLER STREET EXTENSION — (Statesboro) A woman told deputies she watched a juvenile pick up a kitten and hold it up to a fan, allowing the blade to strike the kitten's head. He then put it down and it died. The woman said she asked the offender why he did that and he became angry, began cursing and screaming and threw a case of soft drinks against a  wall. The drinks exploded and hit the woman. Deputies arrested the juvenile.

            ROCKY FORD ROAD — (Portal) A woman said she argued with another female over both women's children. One woman was angry over her child being disciplined verbally by the other woman, and went to the complaint's house with a large group to start a confrontation, using vulgar language.

            SINKHOLE ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman and man got physical during an argument.

            A. J. RIGGS ROAD — (Statesboro) A man reported someone backed into his vehicle.

            PONDEROSA ROAD — (Portal) A man told deputies another man harassed him.

            CLITO ROAD — (Clito) A woman told deputies she and a man were involved in an argument.

            U.S. 80 EAST — (Statesboro) A woman said an unknown person damaged her land.

            LONGWOOD DRIVE — (Statesboro) A woman said someone took a white 1994 Nissan Maxima from her home.

            BROOMSTRAW TRACE — (Ellabell) A man reported the theft of a bicycle.

            FOREST AVENUE — Portal) A man said another man has been harassing him for two years. He also t old deputies a Florida man has been calling him to harass him for two weeks.

            IRONGATE PLACE — (Statesboro) A couple  told police a juvenile became irate and grabbed a woman by the arm, then disconnected the phone when she tried calling law enforcement. He later tore her shirt during a scuffle,and was arrested.

           

Georgia State Patrol Incidents  

            Troopers issued 16 warnings, assisted five motorists and investigated three crashes with one reported injury Sunday.

            University Police Department — three calls.

            Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — four calls.

            Candler County Sheriff's Department — 10 calls.

            Evans County Sheriff's Department — four  calls.

            Claxton Police Department — one calls.

                       

911 Fire Department Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Statesboro Fire Department — two calls.

            Bulloch County Volunteer Firefighters — two calls.

            Metter Fire Department — one call.

           

911 EMS Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Bulloch County EMS — one accident call, one rescue call and 16 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — four medical calls. 

            Evans County EMS — one medical call.   

            Central 911 operators also routed three calls to Bulloch County First Responders, a call to Poison Control, a call to Screven County 911, a call to Bryan County 911 and a call to Emanuel County 911 .
