CORRECTION: In Friday's report, Rozie Spells, 34, Morris Street, was incorrectly listed as being charged with DUI. Spells was not charged with DUI, but with driving with a suspended license. The Herald regrets the error.

SOUTHERN COVE – Two unknown females entered a residence and took two black couch slip covers, a pink wall mirror, a black and white dotted lamp, and some wall posters (Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Alice in Wonderland and the movie, “Blow”)
OAKLEAF DRIVE – A man struck another vehicle with his white car and fled the scene. He later returned to the scene and was arrested for DUI.
COLLEGE WALK APARTMENTS – At four in the morning, police responded to a domestic dispute. The woman said the man hit her in the face and kicked her car, causing visible damage to the hood and driver’s door.

SUNCREST DRIVE — (Portal) A woman told deputies a woman was cursing her son and threatened to slap him. The offender denied the accusation and blamed it on another female.
ZIP IN FOODS — (Brooklet, Ga. 67) A man reported the theft of a white 197 Ford F-750/800 with a 2,500 gallon stainless steel water drum.
HONDA OF STATESBORO — (Ga. 67) A man picked up a motorcycle after repairs were done and said his wife would stop by to pay the bill. She never did, and phone calls to the man have not resulted in payment.
WESTSIDE MOBILE HOME PARK — (Statesboro) A woman said a man attacked her physically. The man was arrested on battery charges as well as probation violation, terroristic t threats and simple battery.
AKINS CIRCLE —(Brooklet) A woman said a man cut timber on her property and did not pay for it.
NORTH LANE — (Ellabell) A woman said she saw two men back up to a home and steal a riding lawn mower.
STILL QUARTERS — (Ellabell) A woman said someone broke her back window and sliding glass door using a piece of cement block.
