Statesboro Police Incidents
SOUTHERN VILLAS — A recently evicted tenant returned to his apartment and allegedly kicked in the front door of the apartment, which had been recently rekeyed by the manager. A neighbor saw the door open and investigated - finding the former tenant taking a shower. After a brief discussion with the tenant, the neighbor left to run an errand and found the tenant gone when he came back.
REED STREET — An unknown white male enter the house of an elderly gentleman and took an undisclosed amount of cash.
VISTA CIRCLE — A motorist was stopped because his window were unlawfully tinted. Upon investigation, the officer found his registration to be expired. The vehicle was towed and the offender released at the scene.
PACKINGHOUSE ROAD — An officer attempted to serve a warrant for a parole violation when a female attempted to hinder the police officer's search for the parolee. The woman was taken to jail for obstruction along with the parole violator.
COLLEGE PARK UNIVERSITY PINES — An officer was dispatched to an apartment because of a report of drug activity. The officer arrived and searched the apartment only to find no drug activity of any kind.
DOS PRIMOS — An unknown white male struck the victim in the face following an argument over a friend's birthday. There was no sign of injury.
COPPER BEACH — The victim had a female friend over to his apartment when he spotted his ex-girlfriend visit another apartment. Victim stated that his ex-girlfriend and an unknown black male got into a vehicle and watched the apartment until his friend left. Victim stated his ex-girlfriend has previously sent two of her male friends over to the victim's apartment in order to intimidate him.

STILSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL — (Stilson) A juvenile was disciplined for having a knife with a two-inch blade.
FIVE CHOP ROAD — (Clito) A woman said someone took a Cobra .380 pistol from her vehicle.
CHANCE'S MOBILE HOME PARK — (Clito) A woman said a man became upset when a juvenile male cursed at his two-year-old nephew, so he struck him in the face. The juvenile struck back, causing the older man's ear to rupture and bleed. When deputies questioned the juvenile, he admitted cursing at his nephew, and said he could do it any time he wanted and the other man "needed to stay out of his business." Both the older man, charged with battery and whom deputies said was intoxicated, and the juvenile were arrested. The juvenile, charged with simple battery, was taken to Claxton Regional Youth Detention Center on orders from his probation officer.
DELOACH CHURCH CONNECTOR — (Statesboro) A woman said someone knocked over her mail box and damaged it.
