Statesboro City Council has a work session on the city budget scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday. A work session on an overhaul of the Alcoholic Beverages Ordinance will follow a regular meeting on May 6.Both working meetings will be open to the public.Council members referred to Monday’s meeting as the annual “budget retreat,” but they will retreat no further than their usual chambers at City Hall.
