East Georgia Regional Medical Center recently announced the addition of five new physicians to its staff.
Delan Gaines, M.D. is an orthopaedic surgeon who has joined East Georgia Orthopedics. Dr. Gaines received his bachelor of science in psychology from Furman University and his doctor of medicine from Medical College of Georgia. He completed his orthopaedic residency at UT-Chattanooga and a sports fellowship in Spartan- burg, S.C. at Steadman-Hawkins Clinic Carolinas.
Janine Dodds, M.D. is a radiologist with East Georgia Radiologists. Dodds holds a bachelor of arts in biology from New York University and a doctor of medicine from UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School where she graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency at Baylor College of Medicine. She is board certified in diagnostic radiology. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in cross sectional imaging from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadel-phia, PA. Before moving to Statesboro, Dr. Dodds was in private practice in Charleston, specializing in women's imaging including mammography and breast MRI.

He completed his medicine residency at Eisenhower Army Medical Center and postdoctoral fellowship in cardiology at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, TX. Previously, Dr. Gorman was Staff Cardiologist at Eisenhower Army Medial Center, Memorial Health Medical Center and St. Joseph/Candler Hospital in Savannah. Other hospital appointments include serving as Chief of Cardiology at Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg, N.C. and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. He received bachelor of science degrees in chemistry and biology from University of Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada and obtained his doctor of medicine from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. Dr. Bisseck completed his general surgery residency at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in plastic surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina. He has been in plastic surgery practice since 2006 at Midwest Physicians and Surgeons in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
