Bond denied in 'spice beating'
W THOMAS JASON BROWNING
Thomas Jason Browning
Bond was denied Wednesday for a man charged with beating a woman in the face and head with “a large glass beer mug” while he was reportedly under the influence of a synthetic marijuana known as “spice.” Thomas Jason Browning, 23, Brannen Road, kept his head bowed as Bulloch County Superior Court Judge Gates Peed listened to arguments from prosecutors and defense attorneys as to reasons he should be denied or given bond. Browning is charged with aggravated assault with intent to murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated battery.
