Back to School Bash

The Community First Partnership Group will hold a "Back to School Bash" on Saturday, July 26, from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club in Statesboro.

According to a release from the local agency, the event is "designed to welcome students and families back to school, while providing essential resources and support for the upcoming academic year."

The bash will feature a variety of activities, including games, educational activities and opportunities to connect with local organizations and community resources. Families will have the chance to gather information about school programs, health services and extracurricular activities available in the community.

"We are excited to bring together students, parents, educators and local organizations for a day of fun and learning," said Vernetta Staten, a member of the Community First Partnership Group and president of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. "This event is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our community bonds and ensure that every student is prepared for a successful school year."
