August 7 - Statesboro Police Arrests Kevin Richard Bennett, 35, U.S. 80 East bench warrant

Statesboro Police Arrests
    Kevin Richard Bennett, 35, U.S. 80 East – bench warrant.
    Emory W. Yant, 44, Rucker Lane – theft of lost of mislaid property, theft by deception.
    Rigoberto Guillermo, 27, Lee Street – seat belt violation, driving while unlicensed.
   
Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests
    Arrests Thursday through Sunday will be published Tuesday.
   
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Troopers issued 11 traffic violation citations Thursday.
   
Georgia Southern University Arrests
    No arrests filed.
          
Statesboro Police Incidents
    PARK PLACE APARTMENTS – Police responded to a domestic dispute. In a second incident, a woman called police to report her neighbor took photos of her 8-year-old son and used profanity in talking to him.
    THE POINTE AT SOUTHERN – A man reported the theft of a duffel bag, Play Station 3 and games, and lap top computer.
    STATESBORO FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH – Someone found a broken jar on the sidewalk, along with some cash. The jar had gold on it and the name “Ellis.” The money is being kept at the police department for the owner to claim.
    VARSITY APARTMENTS – A man lost his text books and found them later to have been sold to a book store. The man who found them and sold them was arrested.
    CAMPUS CLUB APARTMENTS – A cleaning crew reported a man walked in while they were cleaning an apartment, sat down and watched TV.
    COLLEGE LANE- A man reported the theft of a gold 2004 Kia Spectra.
    FAIR ROAD – Someone stole a GPS unit and iPod from a car.
    EASTSIDE CEMETERY – A woman reported repeated vandalism and theft of her son’s grave. Someone defaces it and steals flowers and adornments.
    COLLEGE LANE – During a domestic dispute someone threw a drink on a woman.
    STADIUM PLACE APARTMENTS – A woman let two men into her house, and later found $385 missing from a purse.
     
Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
    ADEN LANIER ROAD – (Nevils) A man reported someone entered his home, broke several items and wrote “This ain’t your house, b-----” on a mirror.
    GEORGE MOORE ROAD – (Statesboro) Someone reported theft of a pink and purple Terra bike.
    DANNIE CARTEE ROAD – (Portal) A man said a woman (his ex-wife’s sister) slandered him on Facebook, stating he has AIDS and is gay.
    HAWK LANE – (Statesboro) A woman said a tackle box, plastic worms, bobbers and fishing weights were stolen from her car.
           
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
    Troopers issued 15 warning, assisted two motorists and investigated one crash Thursday.
     
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    Officers assisted four motorists, issued two traffic warnings and responded to two alarms Thursday.
    RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER – Someone reported a hit and run incident.

    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Thursday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department – 15 calls.
    Statesboro Police Department – 21 calls.
    University Police Department – no calls.
    Georgia State Patrol – seven calls.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department – four calls.
    Evans County Sheriff's Department – three calls.
    Claxton Police Department – three calls.
    Brooklet Police Department –  one call.
       
911 Fire Department Reports
    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Thursday:
    Claxton Fire Department – two calls.
    Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters – two calls.
    Hagins Fire Department – one call.
         
911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Thursday:
    Bulloch County EMS – one accident call and 13 medical calls.
    Candler County EMS – nine medical calls.
    Evans County EMS – one fire call and six medical calls.
    Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls Thursday: a call to Bulloch Humane Enforcement and six calls to Bulloch County First Responders.
