"Chad" always is trying to help his friends get better cell phone service in commercials for Alltel Wireless.

      The actor Chad Brokaw, a distant relative of former NBC news anchor Tom Brokaw, came to Bulloch Academy Friday to talk about the dangers of texting and driving.

      As prom season gets underway and with graduation less than two months away, Chad also talked about drinking and driving and its consequences.

      Bulloch Academy students came up with some skits about texting and Chad answered questions from students, including about how he became the spokesperson for Alltel.
