Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ray Sexton of Marietta announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Nicole Sexton of Marietta, to David Pafford Martin, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben David Martin of Brooklet.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. James Thurman Sexton of Harriman, Tennessee, and the late Mrs. Sexton and Mrs. Betty Easter Hamby of Marietta and the late Mr. Andy Loy Jr. of Harriman. Lindsey is a 2005 graduate of Kennesaw Mountain High School and attended The University of Georgia, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication in May 2009. She is a member of Delta Zeta Sorority. After graduation, Lindsey returned to Marietta and is employed by Buckley, Brown, P.C. in Atlanta as a legal assistant.
         The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Charles Session King Jr. of Marietta and the late Mr. King and Mrs. M.P. Martin Jr. of Brooklet and the late Mr. Martin. David is a 2005 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and a 2009 graduate of The University of Georgia, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Communication. He is a member of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. David is currently employed by Dow AgroSciences in agricultural sales and lives in Indianapolis, Indiana.
    The wedding is planned for July 24, 2010 in Athens, Georgia.
