Monica Rae Phillips and Nathaniel Robert Edenfield

    W. Scott and Paula Phillips of Brunswick, Georgia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Monica Rae Phillips, to Nathaniel Robert Edenfield, son of Jerry and Cynthia Edenfield of Swainsboro, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of William C. and Elizabeth Phillips of Brunswick and Beverly Neuhann of Brooksville, Florida, and the late Paul Neuhann. Monica is a 2002 graduate of Coral Springs Christian Academy in Coral Springs, Fla., and is a 2006 graduate of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fla., with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She is a 2009 graduate of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, where she received a Master’s of Science in Nursing. She is employed as a family nurse practitioner with St. Joseph’s/Candler Medical Group Management Clinic in Metter.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Paul and Joyce Smith of Marietta, Ga., and the late RJ and Pauline Edenfield of Metter. He is a 1998 graduate of Swainsboro High School in Swainsboro, Ga., and is a 2007 graduate of Community College of the Air Force, where he received an Associate’s in Applied Science and an Associate’s in Biomedical Equipment Technology. He is employed as a biomedical equipment technologist with Dwight D. Eisenhower Medical Center in Fort Gordon, Ga.
    The couple is planning to wed on March 31, 2012, at 4 p.m. at The Belle House in Statesboro.
