Erika Crystal McGahee and Matthew Brandon Strange

    Shelia McGahee of Statesboro wishes to announce the engagement and forthcoming wedding of her daughter, Erika Crystal McGahee, to Matthew Brandon Strange, son of Michelle and Allen Harris and Herman Strange Jr. and the late Karen Strange, all of Metter, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Gary R. McGahee of Statesboro. She is the granddaughter of the late Shirley and Rufus Miller Jr. of Statesboro, Mr. and Mrs. A.P. Gould of Pensacola, Fla., Ida Ann and Asie Teal of Manchester, Ga., and the late Mr. Henry R. McGahee of Statesboro. She is the great-granddaughter of Bertha Ansley of Lyons, Ga. Erika is a 2004 graduate of Statesboro High School, a 2007 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College, with a Master Cosmetologist degree, and is employed with Haircuts & More in Statesboro. She is currently attending Ogeechee Technical College to become a licensed practical nurse.
    The future groom is the grandson of Alice and Louis Hubbard of Metter, Ga., Charles and Glenda Davis of Garden City, Ga., June Strange of Metter and the late Herman Strange Sr. of Metter. Matt is a 2002 graduate of Metter High School and is employed with Wal-Mart Distribution Center of Statesboro.
    The wedding ceremony is planned for Saturday, March 24th, at 5 p.m. at the Metter Church of God in Metter, Ga. A reception will follow in the church social hall.
    Erika and Matt would like to invite all relatives and friends to join in their celebration. No local invitations will be sent. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
