Mr. and Mrs. Russell Kelly Williams Jr.

    Kelly Colleen Kimbrough and Russell Kelly Williams Jr. were united in marriage on June 12, 2010, at Grace Episcopal Church in Asheville. The ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Howard Hanger.
    Music was provided by Pat Johnston and friends of the Asheville Symphony Orchestra.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr. William Robert Kimbrough and Ms. Colleen Myers Kimbrough, both of Asheville. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. William T. Hopkins, the late Mr. Douglass J. Myers, Mrs. Joan M. Kimbrough and the late Dr. Robert F. Kimbrough, both of Ft. Wayne, Ind.
    The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Kelly Williams Sr. and Mrs. Penny Sue Coffey. He is the grandson of Mrs. Karin Williams, the late Mr. Jimmy Williams, Mr. Jarman Coffey Sr. and Mrs. Jeanette Johns.
    Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a pearl ivory satin strapless dress. It was an A-line gown with an ivory Alencon lace overlay, adorned with sequins and beading. The neckline was enhanced with scalloped edging and a satin ribbon tied in a bow at the waist. As her something borrowed, she wore her grandmother's diamond pin, designed by her great-grandmother, which her mother and aunt wore on their wedding day. She wore a short veil with orchid flowers in her hair.
    The bride was attended by college friend Lucille Whiten of Brooks, Ga., as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristin Goldschmitt of Sarasota, Fla., high school friend; Anna Marie Laura of Washington, D.C., cousin of the bride; Kelli Stahl of Charleston, S.C., childhood friend; Jeanne Walker of Atlanta, Ga, cousin of the bride; and Maureen Warter of South Bend, Ind., cousin of the bride. Erin Kimbrough of Johnson City, Tenn., Colleen Myers of Chicago, Ill., and Megan Myers of Chicago, Ill., all cousins of the bride, served as readers.
    The groom was attended by his college friend, Peter Lane of Atlanta, Ga., as his best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Foley of Statesboro, Ga., college friend; Christopher Jacobs of Eatonton, Ga., college friend; Robert Kimbrough of Charleston, S.C., brother of the bride; John Purvis of Alpharetta, Ga., college friend; and Jonathan Rookes of Atlanta, Ga., college friend.
    A reception of dinner and dancing followed at the Country Club of Asheville.
    Family and friends of the bride and groom honored them with parties and showers throughout their engagement. The family of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner on Friday evening at Fiore's Restaurant in Asheville, N.C.
    The bride graduated from Asheville High School in 2002 and from Western Carolina University, with a BS in Early Childhood Development in 2006. She is a member of Phi Mu Fraternity and currently serves as the alumnae relations coordinator for Phi Mu National Headquarters in Peachtree City, Ga.
    The groom graduated from Southeast Bulloch High School in 2001 and from Georgia Southern University, with a BS in Business Administration. He is a member of Delta Chi Fraternity. He is an account manager with The Intersect Group in Atlanta.
    After a honeymoon in St. Thomas BVI, the couple resides in Atlanta.
