Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Jones of Statesboro and Mrs. Cheryl McAllister of Atlanta, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Yvonne Marie Jones of Statesboro, to William Brandon Lane, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Lane.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thompson, the late Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Jones and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Perry. Yvonne is a 2006 graduate of Statesboro High School. She is currently attending Ogeechee Technical College, pursuing her diploma in Marketing Management.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Crawford Williams, the late Mr. John Allen Lane and Mrs. Bernice Lane. Brandon is a 2002 graduate of Portal High School and is a 2003 graduate of Nashville Automotive and Diesel College. He is currently employed with Pioneer/Yancey Bros.
    The couple has planned to wed on April 17th at 3 p.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church in Nevils, Ga.
