Mrs. Sario Joseph Caradonna

Ashley Byers Hill and Sario Joseph Caradonna of Mount Pleasant, S.C., were united in marriage on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at 6:30 in the evening on the Tennis Lawn of Biltmore Estate. The Rev. Timothy Lolley officiated.

Musical selections were provided by Ron Clearfield, cellist; Ginger Rowal, violinist; and Margery Kowal, violist.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Groover Hill of Statesboro. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walker P. Hill Jr. of Statesboro andMrs. Mary Jeane Byers and the late Mr. Ralph Carl Byers of Mount Pleasant. She is the great-granddaughter of the late Samuel Edwin Groover and Willie Olliff Groover Cobb of Statesboro; the late Mr. and Mrs. Walker P. Hill Sr. of Thomasville, Ga.; the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred S. Boyd Sr. of Laurens, S.C.; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Earl Byers of Laurens.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sario Caradonna Jr. of Madison, Miss., and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sario Caradonna of Sicily, Italy, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Anderson Knight of Collins, Miss. He is the great-grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Caradonna of Italy, the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sheridan of New Jersey, the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe McQueen of Collins, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Knight of Seminary, Miss.

Ashley was given in marriage by her father, Edwin Hill. She wore a corded French lace gown. The pale charmeuse lining enhanced the slender-column gown fashioned from rose-patterned lace. The pearl buttons extended the length of the gown and the chapel train. Her bouquet was a classic French mound with ivory peonies, ranunculus, arabacum and astilbe wrapped with ivory satin ribbon.

Bonnie Ryckman of Seneca, S.C., was the matron of honor. Elizabeth Humma of Atlanta, Ga.; Morgan Ivey of Nashville, Tenn.; and Harrison Perry of New York, N.Y., were bridesmaids.

John Huguley of John's Island, S.C., was the best man. Groomsmen were Tony Garcia of Mississippi; Christopher McKee of Charleston, S.C.; and Jacob Wright of Mount Pleasant.

After the cocktail hour on the library terrace, the seated dinner reception was held in the Italian Garden on Biltmore Estate.

The couple honeymooned in Italy and Greece.

They will reside in Mount Pleasant.
