Mr. and Mrs. Marty Clay and Randy Harden of Statesboro, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Caroline Harden of Dawsonville, Ga., to Matthew Harold Wolfer of Dawsonville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Wolfer of Molalla, Oregon.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Janice Harden and the late William Harden and the late Dr. Robert Garbutt and Carol Garbutt. Allison is a 2004 graduate of Bulloch Academy. She works at Achasta Community and Country Club in Dahlonega, Ga., as the administrative assistant.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wolfer and the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard Saul. Matt is a 2004 graduate of Wilsonville High School in Wilsonville, Ore. He joined the U.S. Army in 2004 and serves as an Army Ranger. He has been deployed seven times. His deployments include Iraq and Afghanistan.
    The couple has planned to wed on August 18, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. at The Belle House in Statesboro, Ga.
