Paxton Leiss Gehle Jason Scott Crosby

    Mr. and Mrs. Rick Gehle of Moultrie are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Paxton Leiss, to Jason Scott Crosby, son of Malissa Crosby of Hartsfield, Ga., and the late Brian Crosby.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Joann A. Smith and Roy L. "Larry" Smith of Portal and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gehle of Augusta, Ga. She is the great-granddaughter of Bertis Akins Deal of Statesboro. She is a 2003 honor graduate of Colquitt County High School and graduated, magna cum laude, from Georgia Southern University in 2007, with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Family and Consumer Science in Secondary Education. She is a member of Phi Mu Sorority and Pi Lambda Theta. She is a family and consumer science teacher at Mitchell County High School in Camilla, Ga.
    The future groom is the grandson of Bobby Crosby of Sale City, Ga., and the late Joyce Crosby and Bill and Linda Goble and Jerry Grantham, all of Hartsfield, Ga. He is the great-grandson of Eileen Bash of Winter Haven, Fla., and William Grantham of Doerun, Ga. He is a 2002 honor graduate of Colquitt County High School and attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Ga., before entering the Georgia Tech Regional Engineering Program (GTREP) at Georgia Southern University in 2005. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2008, with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is employed by TTL Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering and Testing Firm in Albany, Ga., as a geotechnical engineer.
    The wedding is planned for May 22, 2010, at Gin Creek Plantation in Hartsfield, Ga.
