Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fletcher of Cochran, Ga., have the pleasure of announcing the engagement of their daughter, Bailey Fletcher, to Taggert Spence Lanier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lannie Lanier of Portal, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Evelyn Horne and the late Mr. Edward Coley Sr., Mr. and Mrs. John Kaufman and the late Mr. Durell Fletcher. Bailey graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 2011 with a BS in Nursing and is currently employed as a registered nurse in the Oncology Department at Georgia Health Sciences Medical Center.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. I.W. Spence, Mrs. Cleo Hodges-Lanier and the late Mr. and Mrs. Denver Lanier. Tagg will graduate from Southern Polytechnic State University in May 2012 with a BA in Business Administration. After graduation, he plans to pursue an MBA at Augusta State University.
    The couple plans to wed on May 19, 2012, at Pineola Farms, Fort Valley, Ga.
