Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Deal of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Sidney Deal of Statesboro, to Doug Collins IV, son of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Collins III and Ms. Patrice Rogers.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wade Price of Statesboro and Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Deal of Statesboro. She is the great-granddaughter of Ms. Evelyn Price and the late Saffold Price and the late Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Roberts and the late Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Deal and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dickerson. She graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2014 with a degree in business administration. She is currently employed at Taulbee, Rushing, Snipes, Marsh & Hodgin LLC.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. CD Collins and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Rogers. He is currently enrolled at Georgia Southern University and is employed by the Army National Guard.
    The couple has planned to wed on April 25, 2015, at 6 p.m. at the home of Glenn and Debbie Deal.
