The family of Erica Brantley announces the engagement and marriage of Erica LaDonna Brantley to Spencer Burt Lanier.
    Erica is the daughter of Eric Brantley of Milledgeville and Denise Amerson of Warthen. She is the granddaughter of JM and Bobbi Brantley of Sandersville and Dewey Holton Jr. of Davisboro and Mary Tanner of Sandersville. Erica is a 2012 graduate of Georgia Southern University, with a degree in Nursing, and is employed by East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.
    Spencer is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Lanier III of Metter. He is the grandson of James C. Lanier Jr. of Metter and Louise Lanier of Statesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Clifton of Metter. Spencer is a 2009 graduate of Georgia Southern University, with a degree in Criminal Justice, and is employed by International Paper in Savannah.
    The wedding will take place on September 14, 2013, at 6 p.m. at The Belle House in Statesboro.
