Aubrey Brammar became the bride of Jeremy Southall during a 6 p.m. ceremony held on June 18, 2011, at the Statesboro First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dr. Gordon Griffin officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Ms. Emma Wallace of Statesboro and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Brammar of Statesboro and is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neill Brammar of Statesboro and Mr. and Mrs. Newton Wallace of Statesboro.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Southall of Loganville, Georgia, and is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Arlon Southall of Martinez, Georgia, Mrs. Annie Anderson and the late Mr. Sammy Anderson of Martinez, Georgia.
Given in marriage by her father, Glenn Brammar, the bride wore a one-piece A-line gown with halter neckline and button closure. The dress featured a high-collar, halter neckline and stunning fabrication in Godavari silk. The gown had asymmetrical ruching while a smattering of beaded embellishments provided an understated ornamentation at the side hip and surrounding the back of the gown.
Mary Brammar of Statesboro, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Laura Beblowski Tyler of Statesboro served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Baylee Barnard of Statesboro, stepsister of the bride; Leslie McNeely Braun of Valdosta, Georgia, Leslie Curtis of Atlanta, Georgia, Mallorie Edenfield of Denver, Colorado, Jessica Collins Hutcheson of Statesboro, Christie Mallard of Statesboro and Brittany Balleck Malouf of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Michael Southall served as his son's best man. Groomsmen/ushers were Tony Southall of Columbus, Georgia, brother of the groom; Blake Barnard of Statesboro, stepbrother of the bride; Chris Campbell of Atlanta, Kyle Sherseth of Atlanta, Drew Jones of Monroe, Ga., Adam Smith of Tucson, Arizona, and Alex Smith of Memphis, Tennessee.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Historic Statesboro Inn. Hostesses were Leah Sibley of Athens, Ga., Abigail Shrader of Atlanta and Sarah Tucker of Statesboro. Music was provided by Do Good DJs.
The couple honeymooned at Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and now resides in Atlanta.
