The Rev. and Mrs. Ricky Allen announce the marriage of their daughter, Ashley, to Matt Summers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chad Summers of Warner Robins.
    The bride is the granddaughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Don Scarborough of Newington and Mr. Alvin Allen and the late Mrs. Sara Allen of Macon. She is a 2005 honor graduate of Statesboro High School and received a B.S. in Education from Georgia Southern University in 2009. She is currently employed by the Bulloch County Board of Education at Portal Elementary School.
    The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Nancy Popkin and the late Mr. Mike Popkin of Warner Robins and Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Summers and the late Mrs. Pat Summers of Perry. He is a 2006 honor graduate of Warner Robins High School and received a B.S. in Biology from Georgia Southern University in 2010. He is currently employed by Westside Veterinary Hospital in Statesboro.
    The couple is planning to renew their vows before their family and friends on Saturday, May 21, 2011, at the Belle House at 6:30 p.m.
