Mr. and Mrs. William R. Schafer of Brooklet announce the engagement of their daughter, Hope Elise of Brooklet, to Clint Allen Crosby, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold M. Crosby.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Schafer and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Shelby. She is a graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and is currently a junior at Georgia Southern University, majoring in Middle Grades Education. She is employed by the Georgia Southern University Counseling Center.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Inez Crosby, the late Mitch Crosby and the late Mr. and Mrs. D.C. Lanier. He is a graduate of Metter High School and is employed by Coursey Construction of Metter, Ga.
The couple has planned to wed on May 16th, 2009, at 4 p.m. at the Statesboro Church of God.
