Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy C. Edenfield of Statesboro and the late William E. "Billy" Rountree of Sylvania would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Marie Rountree, to Jonathan Allen Lamb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walt Lamb of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ms. Carolyn Adams of Sylvania and the late Albert Woods of Savannah, the late Lewis and Pearl Rountree of Sylvania, Mrs. Alma Edenfield and the late David "Doc" Edenfield of Statesboro. She is a 2003 graduate of Statesboro High School and is a 2008 honor graduate of Ogeechee Technical College. She will be attending GSU in the Spring of 2010.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late John Wendall and Mildred Newton of Statesboro and Mrs. Bobbie Lamb and the late Allen Lamb of Statesboro. A 2000 graduate of Statesboro High School, he is a 2001 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College and attended GSU from 2002-2004. He is currently employed with Georgia Southern University and the owner of Lambscapes Landscaping.
    The couple has planned to wed on Saturday, September 26th, 2009, at 6 p.m. at Gracewood Baptist Church in Statesboro, Ga.
