Mr. and Mrs. R.I. and Colleen Rosier of Register announce the engagement of their daughter, Sophia Lee Ann Proctor of Des Moines, Iowa, to Justin Arnold Detlefsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold and Phyllis Detlefsen.
The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Willie Proctor Sr. She is the granddaughter of Rita LeFebvre and the late John “Doc” LeFebvre and the late Rowie and Ada Proctor. She attended Statesboro High School and graduated from Astronaut High School in Titusville, Fla., and Brevard Community College. She worked at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, Va.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Irving and Georgia Wimer and Arnold and Vivian Detlefsen. He attended and graduated from Adel High School in Adel, Iowa, and is employed at Greenman Technologies in Des Moines, Iowa.
The couple has planned to wed on November 17, 2006, at 7 p.m. at the Register Baptist Church in Register.
