Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Pace of Warner, Okla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Cynthia Jean “Cindi” Pace of Warner, Okla., to Jasper Edmund “Jes” Smith III, son of Paula Smith and the late Jasper E. “Ed” Smith Jr.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pait and the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Henry Pace. She graduated high school from Dakar Academy in Dakar, Senegal, West Africa, and graduated with a bachelor of science in English, secondary education, from Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Okla. She is employed overseas.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Banks and Mrs. Jake Smith and the late Jake Smith. He is a graduate of Bulloch Academy and graduated with a bachelor of science in English from Mercer University in Macon. Mr. Smith graduated with a master’s of science in international economic development from Eastern University in Philadelphia, Pa., and is employed overseas.
The couple has planned to wed on December 2, 2006, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Shawnee, Okla.
