Mr. and Mrs. Robert Morris of Cumming, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Rob McCullough of Grayson, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Christy McCullough of Cumming, to Chad Bishop of Statesboro, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bishop of Snellville, Ga.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Tom and Dorothy Doyle of Brick, N.J., and the late Frank and Frances McCullough. Christy is a 2006 graduate of Georgia Southern University and is employed as an employment specialist with Avita Community Partners.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Robert and Rose Schatzel and the late Robert and Virginia Bishop. Chad is a 2006 graduate of GSU and is employed as the sports editor at the Statesboro Herald.
The couple has planned to wed on June 27, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Charleston, S.C.
