Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Richard Haltiner of Augusta announce the engagement of their daughter, Andrea Lauren Haltiner, to John Drew Prosser, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Harry Prosser of Statesboro.
    Miss Haltiner is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Franklin Daniel Freda of Newport News, Va., and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stephen Haltiner of Norfolk, Va. She graduated as valedictorian from Westside High School in Augusta in 2000. In 2004, she graduated, summa cum laude, with a degree in biology from the University of Georgia, where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. Currently, she is a third year medical student at the Medical College of Georgia.
    Mr. Prosser is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Francis Godbee Sr. of Brooklet and Margaret Hagin Prosser and the late Harry Prosser of Statesboro. He was an honor graduate of Statesboro High School in 2000. In 2004, he graduated, magna cum laude, with a degree in genetics from the University of Georgia, where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Currently, he is a third year medical student at the Medical College of Georgia.
    The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 23, 2007, at 6 p.m. at The Church of the Good Shepherd in Augusta.
