Best of the Boro: Drive-through celebration held
ReTails
Winners in this year's Best of the Boro rolled through the parking lot at the Statesboro Herald to pick up their awards and pause for the paparazzi last week. Shown is the staff at ReTails Thrift Shop, which won Favorite Consignment/Thrift Shop.

The winners in the annual Best of the Boro competition have been announced, and last week were able to pick up their awards. Due to restrictions in place due to COVID-19, a drive-through celebration was held at the Statesboro Herald.

This year, there were 131,671 votes received, with 8,150 voters participating. After all the votes were tallied, 232 winners were chosen.

As winners rolled through the parking lot at the Herald, some dressed up their cars, and some dressed up themselves. Every winner wore smiles, and were greeted by Herald staff.  Pausing for photos in vehicles and out, winners strutted their stuff.

Congratulations to all of this year's Best of the Boro winners!
