Georgia Southern University President Dr. Brooks Keel tried his slicing technique this week during the annual watermelon cutting kick-off. The 63rd annual cutting started Wednesday when the new president sliced the first melon. The event will be held every Tuesday and Thursday in July at 10 a.m. in front of the Carruth Building.
