With all running prelims and field events done only three area atheltes have moved on to the GHSA state finals this afternoon.
    SE Bulloch's Travion Johnson pulled a big upset, finishing 8th in the 400m dash after being seeded 13th in sectionals. Screven County's Chance Whitman finished 2nd in the 200m dash and Tyquan Johnson finished 5th in the 100m dash. The rest of the area results are as follows:
