Zaquavian Smith scored 14 points to lead the Statesboro High School (4-6) boys basketball team to a 59-40 victory over Mitchell County in the U-Save It tournament in Albany. The Blue Devils finished in fifth place.
    Quante Huff scored 11 points for Statesboro, and Daniel Houston chipped in 10 points.
    Daron Hodges had 11 points for Mitchell Co. (5-3).
