THOMASVILLE — Thomasville's girls beat Screven County, 3-2, and its boys won, 5-0, in tennis Tuesday in the Sweet 16 of the state playoffs.
    Screven's girls (20-3) got wins from Mallorie Boswell, 6-2, 6-3, and Pam Wooten and Kari Lane, 6-4, 6-4. Boswell finished the season 23-0 at No. 3 singles. Haley Mock and Jancy Durrence lost, 4-6, 7-6 (5), 4-6. Lovey Sheppard finished 19-5 at No. 2 singles.
