EASTMAN — Courtney Burns scored the winning basket with 12 seconds to play to lift Screven County High School's girls to a 54-52 victory over Dublin in the Region 3-AA semifinals Friday night at Dodge County High School.
    Burns finished with 19 points and 14 rebounds for the Lady Gamecocks (15-11). Destiny Brewton added 16 points, and Courtney Roberts had 11 points.
    Screven County will play Laney High School tonight for the region championship.
