Evans boys beat Statesboro High
    Zaquavian Smith scored nine points to lead Statesboro High School (7-9, 1-1) in a 57-36 loss to host Evans (10-5, 2-0) in a Region 2B-AAAA boys basketball game Tuesday night.

Sav. Country Day girls beat Metter
    Amari Oliver scored 22 points to lead host Savannah Country Day (8-6, 1-1) to a 49-30 victory over Metter (2-9, 1-1) in a Region 3-A girls basketball game.
    Metter's Alicia Kelly had 10 points.

Calvary tops Claxton
    Host Calvary Day beat Claxton, 70-48, in a Region 3-A girls basketball game.
    Claxton (9-4, 1-1) was led by Polly Murray, who scored 14 points. Kashara Moody added 10 points.

BA girls lose to John Milledge Aca.
    Bulloch Academy's Anna Newton and Taylor Collins scored 14 points apiece but the Lady Gators lost, 45-42, to host John Milledge Academy in a GISA girls basketball game.
    BA (16-2, 2-1) will play host to Westminster at 6 p.m. Friday.
Metter boys beat Sav. Country Day
    James Gunn scored 12 points and Jamaree Mason added 11 to help Metter (5-7, 1-1) beat host Savannah Country Day, 50-41, in a Region 3-A boys basketball game.

SEB  beats Jefferson
    Jasmine Roberts scored 18 points and Nira Byrd had 16 to help Southeast Bulloch beat Jefferson County, 51-45.
   
Jefferson Co. boys keep SEB winless
    Devante Tremble scored 13 points to help Southeast Bulloch (0-13, 0-2) in a 40-33 loss to Jefferson County in Region 3A-AA boys basketball.

Claxton boys top Calvary in overtime
    Zenas Moore had 13 points to lead Claxton to a 62-53 overtime win against host Calvary Day in Region 3A-A boys basketball. Kelsey Wilkerson, Labron Glover and Cornelius Taylor scored 11 apiece for Claxton (7-4, 2-0).

Portal boys top Jenkins Co.
    Stacey Morgan scored 36 points and Cory Reese had 20 as Portal (11-1, 3-1 Region 3-A) beat Jenkins County, 78-65. Zavendric Shingleton had 22 points Jenkins County.
