AUGUSTA — The Statesboro Blue Devils put up huge numbers on Wednesday in the opening day of the Region 3-AAAA meet at Cross Creek in Augusta. The girls scored 59 points to take a commanding lead after the first day, and the boys trail Cross Creek by a point in second place. At least one Blue Devil qualified for regionals in every event.
