WAYNESBORO – The Bulloch Academy Gators faced a giant in Edmund Burke Academy, and came away with an 11-5 win down the street from the Masters Friday. It was the first GISA Region 2-AA loss for the Spartans, and the Gators moved into a first-place tie with each squad sitting at 4-1 in league play.. Both teams threw their ace lefties from the mound as Taylor Burke got the start for the Gators, and Brandon Sharpe for the Spartans.
