The Georgia Southern Eagles scored runs on a fielder's choice and two wild pitches and got five solid innings from Ryan Frederick to take the series from the Western Carolina Catamounts with a 3-2 win on Senior Day. Frederick faced just one over the minimum through five innings and pitched into the sixth. The sophomore righthander allowed just one hit a high fly ball that carried over the wall for Danny Bermudez's first home run of the season in the third inning.
