STATESBORO -- Tammy Sherrel Reed-Reedy was born on February 6, 1977, to Amos D. Reed and Dorothy Lee Reed Cummings of Bulloch County, Georgia.
    She was of the Baptist faith.
    She attended Statesboro High School. She was a graduate of Cornerstone Christian Correspondence School. Later, she married Dennis Reedy and moved to Sylvania, Ga. Due to health reasons, she moved back to her hometown of Statesboro, Ga., where she resided until God called her home on October 7, 2018, unexpectedly.
    Tammy is survived by her husband, Dennis Reedy; her loving mother, Dorothy (Nathaniel) Cummings; and father; Amos D. Reed; one brother, Amos J. Reed; one sister, Alana Reed; godsister, Sharleta (Mal) Calhoun; three stepdaughters, Kellie, Nicole, Jackie Tyler; a loving mother-in-law, Effie Reedy; two brothers-in-law, Bobby Reedy and Irvan Reedy; three grandchildren, De'Angelo Williams, Aa'liyah Tyler and Sinscere Rice; aunts, Unita (William) Ponder, Mary A. (Clinton) Brown, Rosaland (Joe) King, Christine Robinson, Brenda (Al) Womack, Linda Smith, Daine Porter and Helen (Robert) Garrett; uncles, Herry (Marlene) Reed, Lewis Reed, Terry (Janet) Reed, Earl (Kathrine) Lee, Cleveland Lee, Leveland (Lou Ann) Lee, Solomon (Bevely) Lee, Archie Owens and Willie Walden, Albert Walden; and a host of cousins, relatives, and countless friends.
    Viewing will be Friday, October 12, 2018, from 5-7 p.m. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 121 Mt. Olive Church Road, Register, Georgia.
    The funeral will be Saturday, October 13, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church.Interment will be in the church cemetery.
