Mr. Ernest Smith, age 65, of Statesboro, Ga., passed on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at his residence. He was a Bulloch County native.
He was employed as a cement finisher. He was a member of The Historical First African Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sisters, Linda Faye Mikell and Gladys (Harry) Campbell, both of Statesboro, Ga.; Patricia (Elder Donnell) Harden of Portal, Ga.; Cynthia Bostic and Marie Lane, both of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and Elvelyn Pierce of Atlanta, Ga.; brothers, James Smith of Plant City, Fla.; Jewel (Linda) Smith, Larry Smith, John (Delilah) Coleman, Eugene Coleman and Jobie Coleman, all of Statesboro, Ga.; and Jimmy Coleman of Portal, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A walk-through will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022, from noon until 2 p.m. at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, GA 30458.
