STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mr. Jeffrey Lamar Wolfe, age 43, passed away on Wednesday September 19th 2018 while working in Effingham County. Mr. Wolfe was a native of Bulloch County and attended Statesboro High School, graduating in 1993. He then attended Georgia Southern University where he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and graduated in 1998. He worked as owner/operator of Southeastern Civil Inc. and was a member of First Baptist Church Statesboro. He had a passion for the outdoors, but above all, he was a dedicated family man and loved spending time with his wife and children. He looked forward to taking his daughter, Emily, to the Bethany Father/Daughter Dance every year and taking his son, Gavin, hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Lamar Coleman; and paternal grandparents, Eschol Graham Wolfe Sr.; and Cecil Hamlen Wolfe.

He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Jennifer M. Wolfe; 12-year-old daughter, Emily Grace Wolfe; 11-year-old son, William Gavin Wolfe; his parents, Eschol Graham “Buddy” and Judy Coleman Wolfe; his brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Barry and Holly Hendley Wolfe; his niece, Madison Wolfe, all of Statesboro; his maternal grandmother, Bonnie Pearl Coleman of Swainsboro; his aunt, Brenda J. VanArsdale of Swainsboro; uncle, Ricky Lamar Coleman of Swainsboro; and cousins, Bryan VanArsdale of Jacksonville and Brent VanArsdale of Vidalia.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro.

The funeral will be held on Monday at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church Statesboro with Dr. John Waters and Dr. Bill Perry officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be private in the family cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Jenkins, Brian Perry, Ben Mathis, Bill Evans, Rob Fair, Maxwell Hammond, KK Ausbon, Gibson Waters, and Hector Rodriguez.

Honorary pallbearers will be alumni of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity.
