Police said a woman refused to return a car she rented, and was arrested by Atlanta area law enforcement last week on theft by conversion charges.
Christina V. Alexander, 27, address unavailable, rented a 1998 Buick from Bo's Auto Sales Dec. 17,  but failed to return it by Dec. 20, said Statesboro Police Capt. L. C. Williams. The business owner told investigators he spoke with Alexander by phone and she refused to return the car. A warrant was issued for her arrest and the car was listed as stolen.
Jan. 12, South Fulton County Police arrested Alexander, who was transported back to Bulloch County to face charges, he said.
