A winter storm on Saturday, Jan. 31, brought anywhere from 1 to 4 inches of snow around Bulloch County, and temperatures plunged to 15 degrees with a wind chill of near zero. While sunshine melted most of the snow on highways and roads Sunday, frigid temperatures kept snow and ice patches in the shade through Monday. Temperatures topped 50 degrees Monday and are forecast to reach 60 degrees on Tuesday.
